Description
Designed in 1923 by the Hungarian painter, lithograph, silversmith, designer and teacher Gyula Pap, who started his apprenticeship as a silversmith in the Weimar Bauhaus in 1920. He achieved recognition for this design of a floor lamp for the famous Haus am Horn, a domestic house in Weimar designed by Georg Muche. It was built for the Bauhaus Werkschau of 1923.
