Designed by the designer/architect Dinnah Casson, in celebration of the 40 years anniversary of Aram Designs. ''I was born into a world of plans - architectural ones. Both of my parents were architects and, without faxes, emails and internet, they used to work at home a lot. Architectural plans were therefore intermingled with Peter Rabbit. Now I am a partner in a design company involved in the design of museums which is no longer just a store cupboard for objects: it is now understood to be a resevoir of memories that we struggle to order and understand. I think my rug is therefore about these two worlds: the architectural plan overlaid upon another, a new world overlaid upon an older one with a certain level of interpretation, provoking as many questions as answers.''
