Designed with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret in 1925, Le Corbusier's LC19 small writing desk or dressing table is named after his journal l'Esprit Nouveau. Taken into the Cassina i Maestri collection in 2013, it comprises a tubular metal frame with a brushed nickel-plated finish and a shaped plate top painted in either taupe or dark brown. It bears the designers' signatures and an edition number stamped into the frame
