'8 Colours Deconstructed' was designed by sculptor Maty Grunberg, in celebration of the 40 year anniversary of Aram Designs. ''The image for this rug was taken from a small portfolio of silk screens that were published in 1978 in New York and stems from an 8-colour grid. The identity of each colour depends on the other constituent elements of the colour grid. The rotation of the colour influences the identity of the structure and exposes the physical characteristics and strength of each colour.’’ Our rugs are handmade in India - please note the very long lead time.
