Mell Lounge is an engrossing character: angular on the outside, soft and round on the inside, and well thought-out to the last detail: casual seating comfort epitomised by the graphic progression of the seams. The steel skids are so delicately formed that Mell almost appears to be floating. A closer look reveals that it has rounded corners - details that denote minimalist elegance. Mell Lounge is not just a sofa or easy chair, but a comfort zone, including a footstool and table. Taken together, the result is comfortable and with a special lightness that is conveyed by the fine steel skids on the tables and seating furniture.
